Full name: Abbas Ali Hammoud Al-Dulami | عَبَّاس علي حمود الدَّيْلَمِي
Killed in an Israeli bombing of the offices of two press outlets namely, September 26 and Al-Yaman newspapers, in the Yemeni capital, killing 25 journalists.
Abbas Ali Hamoud Al-Dailami was born in the village of (Al-Runa Sharaab) in Taiz Governorate, Yemen, in 1952.
Al-Dailami graduated from the College of Arts (Philosophy Department) in 1978, after which he worked as assistant editor-in-chief in Al-Harras magazine, and also worked as an official in charge of political programs, He joined radio work directly and worked as a program preparer, then responsible for popular and development programs on Sana'a Radio, then responsible for political and directed programs, cultural programs and variety, then he was appointed general director of programs on the radio in 1995 AD..Then he became head of the radio sector, the general program, Sanaa Radio, in 2002.
He was a member of the Journalists Syndicate and also of the Arab Organization for the Defense of Human Rights.
The poet Abbas Al-Dailami dealt with many right-wing and Arab artists, including the Syrian musician (Suhail Arafa), where he composed the song (Good Morning, Homeland), and the poet Abbas Al-Dailami also dealt with the artist Amal Arafa from Syria, Abdel Razzaq Muhammad, Fahd Yakan
The poet Abbas received the Order of Merit in Literature and Arts from (Ali Abdullah Saleh), the former president of Yemen, and received the Sash of Arts and Culture, in addition to receiving many medals, certificates of appreciation, and shields from various local and foreign bodies.
