Killed along with 4 other journalists in a targeted double-tap Israeli artillery shelling on Nasser Medical Complex on the morning of August 25, 2025.
One of his most notable pieces of work during the genocide was his reporting on Israel's murder of 12 year-old Mohammad Saeed Al-Bardawil who was an eyewitness to the IDF's massacre of 15 paramedics in Rafah on March 23, 2025.
