Killed by an Israeli drone along with his photojournalist brother Ibrahim in the Hamad neighborhood of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, when they were testing a drone for filming.

The brothers' neighbor, Mohammed Al-Hartani, told a Sky News correspondent: “Mohammed and Ibrahim were displaced with their family from Gaza City several times until they reached the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. They went on Friday afternoon to film in the city of Khan Yunis, and while they were trying to launch a drone to film, an Israeli drone targeted them with a missile, which led to their martyrdom.”
