• PhD in Political Science and International Relations from Lebanese universities
• Board member of the Center for Regional Studies - Palestine
• Former reporter for Quds Press International News Agency between 2010 and 2014
• Former editor for Maan News Agency from May 2008 to November 2008
• Obtained a bachelor’s degree in journalism and media and a master’s degree in political sciencefrom the Islamic University of Gaza

• Killed along with his brother, sister in law, and nephews in an Israeli airstrike on his home at Al Jalaa Street in Gaza City.
