Hanan Ayad , 26 years old, from Gaza city, was a Freelance journalist. She was martyred on 12/13/2023 as a result of the Israeli bombing of her home in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, and she was killed with her husband and children. Hanan Ayyad was a digital creator. According to witnesses, Ayyad, her husband, and two children were killed by an Israeli shell that hit the area of the Old City of Gaza.

According to Younis Tirawi, oin his X account, the journalist Hanan Ayyad & her husband were murdered in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City on December 13. Her brother said she had went out to bring food & blankets for her 2 hungry children & her injured cousins at the Baptist Hospital. Her two young children are now orphans.

On Novemebr, on Facebook, Ayyad described the constant fear of dying while living under Israeli bombardment. “Hour after hour, days in Gaza, massacre after massacre, imminent and postponed death—everything a target, every soul a planned target for killing," she wrote.
