Journalist and Dr. Hassan Farajallah, one of the executives of the Al-Quds Al-Youm satellite channel and held a senior position with the Al-Quds TV, was killed on 3 December by Israeli bombardment in the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate and the International Federation of Journalists.

Many followers described Farajallah as a "generational educator" as he works as a secondary school teacher, according to his Facebook account. One of his students wrote, remembering his teacher, "You were my friend, my teacher, and the brother among us. We studied and learned a lot from you. The school year is over, but the lesson is not."
