Full name: Hassan Adburrahim Ali Hamad | حسن عبد الرحيم علي حمد

19 years-old reporter from northern Gaza who worked notably with Al Jazeera and Anadolu Agency.

Killed at home during Israeli onslaught on northern Gaza before dawn October 6.

The day and night before, he was bravely documenting the Israeli assault under constant gunfire in pitch darkness, providing key footage documenting the use of artillery shelling and helicopter machine guns against civilian homes.

He carried on his journalist mission until his last moments after an almost full 24 hours of reporting and documenting on the ground moving from one place to another, in spite of having a foot/leg injury.
At 6 AM, he called a friend of his who used to upload videos on his behalf on X, to send him his last video. After a call that didn’t last more than a few seconds, he said, “There they are, there they are, it’s done,” and hung up.

During weeks, Hassan Hamad received threatening messages on WhatsApp, along with several calls from an Israeli officer, instructing him to stop filming Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip. He didn't comply.
