Heba Al-Abadla, 31 years old, from Khan yunis, was a broadcaster on a group of local radio stations, Al-Azhar Radio owned by Al-Azhar University in Gaza, and the co-founder of the Social Media Club-Palestine. She was killed on January 9, 2024 along with her mother and daughter Judy and several family members in an Israeli airstrike on Khan Yunis, according to media reports, the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate, the New Arab, Wafa, and SKeyes.

At Social Media Club-Palestine, Al-Abadla held training and conferences on technology related matters, including content writing and journalism.

The journalist Fathi Sabbah said on his Facebook account : “May God have mercy on my friend and colleague, journalist Hiba Al-Abdallah, and her daughter Judy, who were martyred in a bombing that targeted their home yesterday, Tuesday. I got to know my friend Hiba, the daughter of the Social Media Club at the Palestinian Institute for Communication and Development, several years ago. She was an example and model of a journalist and activist on social media networks, a tactful speaker, a skilled orator, and her beautiful smile never left her "
