حسين عقيل Hussein Aqeel was a Lebanese fixer/guide assisting media crews.
On 21 November 2023, while accompanying a team of journalists near the Lebanon–Israel border in southern Lebanon, he was killed in an Israeli strike. On that day, an Israeli military strike hit a location where media crews were reporting in southern Lebanon, in Tayr Harfa (Sour). Two journalists — Farah Omar and Rabih Me’mari — from the Al Mayadeen network were also killed. Hussein Aqeel, serving as a local fixer/guide with the crew, was killed alongside them.
