Full name: Ibrahim Mohammed Abdullah Al-Gharbawi | إبراهيم محمد عبد الله الغرباوي

• Freelance photojournalist. Founder of the Sham Studio Foundation for artistic photography and media production. Worked as a photojournalist for the Al-Olfah Foundation, an independent civil society organization providing relief to the needy and displaced.
• Ibrahim graduated from the Media Department at the University College of Applied Sciences in 2014.

• Killed by an Israeli drone along with his photojournalist brother Ayman in the Hamad neighborhood of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, when they were testing a drone for filming.

• The brothers' neighbor, Mohammed Al-Hartani, told a Sky News correspondent: “Mohammed and Ibrahim were displaced with their family from Gaza City several times until they reached the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. They went on Friday afternoon to film in the city of Khan Yunis, and while they were trying to launch a drone to film, an Israeli drone targeted them with a missile, which led to their martyrdom.”

• On November 28, 2023, the IDF had destroyed Al-Gharbawi’s workplace and his institution, “Sham Studio.” At the time, Al-Gharbawi posted a video on Facebook showing his workplace burning, and wrote: “11 years of hard work gone in a single moment. God is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. This was Sham Studio, which I worked hard for so that it would be my only source of income, and it contained filming equipment worth large sums, all of which was consumed by the fire. Praise be to God in any case"
