Full name : Ibrahim Mohammed Abdullah Lafii | ابراهيم محمد عبد الله لافى

Ibrahim lafii, 21 years, from Beit Hanoun was a Photographer for Ain Media Company. He, was shot and killed at the t the Beit Hanoun/Erez crossing into Israel in the northern Gaza Strip on October 7, according to the Palestinian press freedom group MADA, the Beirut-based press freedom group SKeyes, and Al-Jazeera.

Journalist Rushdi Sarraj mourned his colleague Lafi, saying, “My helper has passed away… Ibrahim has passed away. He lived as a man and died as a man. His morals were those of men. I am saddened by your departure, and I am saddened by my absence from you and by my farewell to you.” But Sarraj was not away from his companion for long, as he was killed in an Israeli airstrike less than a week later.

Testimony of his colleague Gazan journalist Yara Eid who reacts to news that her friend and colleague, 21-year-old Ibrahim Lafi, was killed by Israeli forces. The photojournalist was reporting near the Beit Hanoun (Erez) checkpoint at the separation fence with Israel.
