[🧵] Al-Hadath newspaper correspondent in Gaza narrates the details of US-backed Israeli forces targeting journalists west of Khan Younis city during the talk of colleague Rasha Ahmed: “Regarding the incident that happened with a group of fellow journalists during coverage, colleagues arrived in the area west of Hamad City and Asdaa, and the colleagues who were present were:
Rasha says that I, colleagues Ezz Al-Deir Al-Maasher, Ibrahim Muharab, Salma Al-Qudomi, and Saeed Al-Lulu were on a journalistic coverage mission. Suddenly, a military tank advanced from the Al-Hawz area near the Jamil Wadi area in the northwestern part of Hamad City and opened heavy fire on colleagues. Ahmed indicates that some colleagues remained prone for more than 5 minutes due to the intensity of the gunfire until colleagues were able to miraculously get out, while colleague Salma was injured in the back, and despite her injury, she continued running without being aware of the nature of the injury until she fell to the ground. Rasha confirms that she and Saeed were able to rescue their colleague Salma, provide first aid, and transport her to a nearby area. They were able to find a cart pulling her, which reached Al Bahr Street, and then she was transported in a civilian car.”
