Killed in an Israeli airstrike on Al-Baqa cafe on the seashore in Gaza City, along with 33 other individuals. Journalist Bayan Abu Sultan was also wounded in the airstrike.
Ismail Abu Hatab had worked as a photojournalist with several media outlets, documenting Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people. He had also held photo exhibitions outside Palestine.
