Mohammed Sobh, a Palestinian photographer from “Khabar” News Agency | Killed in Rimal district, Gaza, Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory on October 09, 2023 Killed in an Israeli airstrike on an area housing several media outlets in Rimal district in western Gaza, according to the U.K.-based newspaper, The Independent, the Qatari-owned English-language news channel Al Jazeera English, and the Palestinian Authority’s official news agency Wafa.
Sobh was killed in the same strike that also killed Saeed al-Taweel and Hisham Alnwajha.
On 10 October, the PJS said in a statement that three Palestinian journalists Said Al-Tawil, director of Al-Khamisa news agency and photojournalist Mohammed Sobboh and photographer Hisham Al-Nawahjh, both worked for Khabar news agency, were killed by an Israeli airstrike that hit a residential building near Gaza City's fishing port. The Hamas-run government said that the three reporters were covering the evacuation of a residential building nearby, when the missile struck, AFP reported.
