"The martyr photographer Rami Iyad Al-Rifai

Born in 1997, he was kind-hearted, light-hearted, a loyal friend who loved people, quick to forget and forgive, a lover of coffee, a skilled painter on walls, on paper, in the sands of the Gaza sea, he was a graduate of communications engineering from Al-Azhar University in Gaza.

He had many dreams, he wanted to get married and name his son Iyad, he liked people to call him "Abu Iyad", he aspired to travel to France and visit Algeria, he was the voice of truth and the image of freedom in Palestine.

He was martyred along with his colleague Ismail Al-Ghoul on Wednesday afternoon 7/31/2024."
