Saeed Radwan Al-Taweel, editor-in-chief of the Al-Khamsa News website, was killed when Israeli warplanes struck an area housing several media outlets in Gaza City’s Rimal district, according to the U.K.-based newspaper, The Independent, Al Jazeera, and the Palestinian Authority’s official news agency Wafa.
Al-Taweel was killed in the same strike that also killed journalists Mohammed Sobh and Hisham Alnwajha.
On 10 October, the PJS said in a statement that three Palestinian journalists Said Al-Tawil, director of Al-Khamisa news agency and photojournalist Mohammed Sobboh and photographer Hisham Al-Nawahjh, both worked for Khabar news agency, were killed by an Israeli airstrike that hit a residential building near Gaza City's fishing port. The Hamas-run government said that the three reporters were covering the evacuation of a residential building nearby, when the missile struck, AFP reported.

The WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation aircraft bombed the Haji Tower in Al-Mu'assasat Street in Gaza Governorate, and it was completely destroyed. Fellow journalist Saeed Radwan Al-Tawil, a resident of Rafah Governorate in the south, who works as editor-in-chief of the Al-Khamisah News website, and fellow journalist Muhammad Rizq Subh, a resident of Gaza, who works as a photographer for Khabar Agency, were martyred.
He pointed out that fellow journalist Hisham Al-Nawajha, a resident of Rafah Governorate, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the intensive care unit at Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
